Turkish Intelligence agents arrested a Brazilian journalist after his entry to the Yelda refugee camp in Hatay. The journalist was investigating the deteriorating conditions of Syrian refugees in the camps due to the mistreatment of Turkish authorities. This incident came after additional reports claimed that Turkey was handing over Syrian refugees to the Assad regime.

New reports confirmed that a team of Iranian doctors were involved in directing the organ-theft operation. Rebel doctors working in public hospitals confirmed that Iranian doctors have been stealing organs from the bodies of those killed as well as those who were injured. Syrian public hospitals have been recently turned into concentration camps. The same sources added that Iranian officers supervised some of the tortures. Iran, the Assad regime, and Hezbollah have been integrating their efforts further with the progress of the revolution, as the regime’s wanted list is shared amongst its allies to catch opposition members in Lebanon, Iran and Iraq as well.

Clashes intensified in Deir Azzour between defected soldiers with tanks and the regime’s forces. The defection took place on Friday, while the clashes started on Saturday. In Hama, the military campaign launched by the regime turned to a real massacre and a humiliation campaign, as regime’s forces have been dragging men out of their houses and beating them in front of their families to deter them from going out in demonstrations. The attacks are done under the cover and protection of the tanks and APCs that fired randomly and insanely on residential areas.

In Homs, additional reports confirmed that the regime is preparing for a massacre to repress the revolution. Major Alawite families have been evacuated from the neighbourhoods’ of Zahra, Akramo, Wadi Zahab, Karm Zaytoun, and Nuzha to Lattakia to prepare for the levelling of Homs. Thousands of militiamen from Hezbollah and the Iraqi Al-Sader brigade have been recruited and deployed to complement security forces accompanying soldiers of the Fourth Regiment and the Republican Guard to prevent defections. However, major defections by hundreds of soldiers crippled the regime and put a hold on this operation. Defected soldiers also attacked and killed 300 regime soldiers from the Fifth Regiment in Daraa, which led to unrest all over the municipality. Furthermore, 200 soldiers defected in Idlib that is now almost a completely liberated city by the defected Saladin Army. Additionally, 30 defected officers killed 150 Hezbollah militiamen by planting explosives in theirs dorms at the Military Academy. It is clear that massive defections from several ranks and regiments caused a serious damage to the regime’s ability to conduct the planned operation in Homs.

Security forces killed at least 23 civilians in Syria today, mostly in Homs and Idlib.
