أوقف رئيس بعثة المراقبين الدوليين الجنرال روبرت مود مهمّة البعثة في سورية بسبب تصاعد العنف خلال الأيام الأخيرة ورفض النظام والمعارضة العمل على حل سلمي انتقالي مما وضع المراقبين في مخاطر عدّة. وقال مود أن المراقبين لن يقوموا بدوريات وسيبقون في مواقعهم حتى إشعار آخر   وأعلنت منظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش أن قوات النظام تستخدم الاغتصاب وأشكال أخرى من العنف الجنسي ضد الرجال والنساء والأطفال لقمع الثورة. وأضافت المنظمة أن الاعتداءات تتم في مراكز الاحتجاز وأثناء عمليّات مداهمة المنازل واجتياح المناطق السكنية   وارتكبت قوّات النظام مع ميليشيات حزب الله مجزرة جديدة بحق المدنيين في مدينة سقبا في ريف دمشق، وتم توثيق 13 قتيلاً، منهم تسعة قضوا ذبحاً بالسكاكين إلى الآن   وقتلت قوّات النظام أكثر من 77 اليوم، سقط منهم 43 في ريف دمشق إثر القصف العنيف للمناطق السكنيّة ثم اقتحامها، و13 في محافظة حمص بسبب استمرار القصف على مدن الرستن وتلبيسة وحمص والقصير، وعشرة في محافظة إدلب بسبب استمرار قصف مدن معرّة النعمان وإدلب   واستمرّت انتهاكات قوّات النظام عبر البلاد، حيث قامت بقصف وإطلاق النار على مدن البوكمال ودير الزور ودرعا وعندان وحيان وبيانون والأتارب والباب وبلدات قلعة المضيق والكرك الشرقي وداعل وقرى العنكاوي وإبين وكفركرمين في محافظة حلب. وتم اقتحام قريتي زور الحيصة وزور بلحسين في محافظة حماة وبلدة عثمان مترافقة مع حملة مداهمات واعتقالات عشوائيّة.   وفي العاصمة، أطلقت قوّات النظام النار على متظاهري حي نهر عيشة بينما سمعت انفجارات في حي المزة. وشدّدت قوّات النظام حملتها العسكريّة على الريف حيث قامت بإطلاق النيران على منطقة مشروع دمّر وبلدات زملكا وجديدة عرطوز وقصف بلدات ومدن مسرابا وكفر بطنا وقدسيا ودوما وعربين والتل والزبداني وحران العواميد وسقبا وحرستا   وذكرت وكالات الأنباء أنّ عدداً من البوارج الروسية تقف في حالة الاستعداد للتوجه نحو الشواطئ السورية من بينها سفن إنزال مع وحدات المشاة البحرية الروسية التابعة لأسطول البحر الأسود   وأفاد عضو غرفة صناعة دمشق محمد أورفه لي بأن تكتلاً من الصناعيين السوريين تلقى عروضاً لاستيراد الغاز من العراق وإيران وبعض الشركات الروسية. وأضاف أنّ أول شحنة ستصل قريباً على متن ناقلة تركية   أبرز المقاطع المصورة الحولة، حمص: المتظاهرون يُعزون المملكة العربية السعودية قيادةً وشعباً بوفاة ولي العهد نايف بن عبد العزيز آل سعود ريف دمشق: عصابات الأسد ترتكب مجزرة راح ضحيتها أكثر من 25 شخص معظمهم قتل ذبحاً بالسلاح الأبيض وآخرون جراء القصف في مدن دوما وسقبا، ج2 جامعة دير الزور: الطلاب يعبرون عن غضبهم إزاء الفظائع التي ارتكبها النظام الأسدي ويقومون بحرق صور بشار الأسد، ج2 حمص: استمرار قصف المدينة بالطيران الحربي والمدفعية والصواريخ وسقوط العديد من الشهداء، ج2، ج3، ج4
