صعدت ميليشيات النظام من العنف بعد عجز المجتمع الدولي عن التحرّك ضد مجازره، حيث قام بقتل ما لا يقل عن 101 شخصاً اليوم، سقط منهم 35 في محافظة إدلب، و19 في محافظة دير الزور، و15 في محافظة حماة، و12 في محافظة حمص. حيث قامت قوّات النظام بتكثيف قصفها المدفعي والصاروخي على كافّة المناطق الثائرة. فقد كثّف النظام من قصف بلدات جسر الشغور وحيش في محافظة إدلب، ومدن وبلدات العشارة والشحيل والموحسن ودير الزور، ومدن كرناز وحلفايا في محافظة حماة، ومدن تلبيسة والرستن وحمص   قام وفد المراقبين الدوليّين بزيارة مدينة تلبية في محافظة حماة، وبعد خروجهم واصلت قوّات النظام القصف بالطائرات المروحيّة. وقام أعضاء اللجنة بمحاولة زيارة حي جوبر في دمشق إلّا أنّ قوّات النظام منعتهم من التقدّم   واستمرّت عمليّات النظام، حيث تمّ تجديد القصف العنيف لبلدة إنخل في محافظة درعا وحرق المحاصيل الزراعيّة لتجويع السكّان، بينما استمرّت المروحيّات في دَكِّ مدينة الحفّة في محافظة اللاذقيّة وسط وصول تعزيزات عسكريّة ضخمة ومحاولات اقتحام للمدينة. وحذّرت الولايات المتّحدة وكوفي عنان من وقوع مجزرة في الحفّة، حيث طالب عنان السماح للمراقبين الدوليّين بدخولها ودخول حمص على الفور   وفي العاصمة، قامت قوّات النظام بحصار واقتحام حي البرزة وسط اشتباكات مع الثوّار. أما في الريف فقد قصفت قوّات النظام  مدن وبلدات دوما وسقبا وحمورية   وقامت الحكومة السورية بتخفيض وزن أسطوانة الغاز بنسبة ما يقارب 20% دون تغيير السعر. وقد جاء هذا بعد أن تم رفع السعر سابقاً إلى 400 ليرة سوريّة، مما يعني أنّ النظام قام بمضاعفة سعر جرّة الغاز منذ بداية الثورة   أبرز المقاطع المصورة التل، ريف دمشق: عشرات الآلاف من المتظاهرين يشيعون الشهيدين وسيم وزاهر دخان حمص: فيديو يظهر مدفعية الجيش الأسدي وهي تقوم بقصف المدينة مستهدفة المساجد والكنائس، ج2، ج3، ج4 عين شيب، إدلب: تشييع شهداء المجزرة التي ارتكبتها عصابات الأسد الطائفية المجرمة وسط غضب شعبي عارم وتنديد بخذلان العرب للشعب السوري المستضعف
