النظام السوري يتحمل مسؤولية التفجيرات الإجرامية في دمشق

في خطوة تهدف إلى إشاعة الفوضى وصرف الأنظار عن جرائم القتل والتنكيل، شهد حي الميدان بالعاصمة دمشق تفجيراً إجرامياً اليوم أوقع عدداً من الشهداء والجرحى في صفوف المدنيين

إن النظام السوري، الذي تباهى أكثر من مرة بقدرته على التخريب وتعميم الفوضى، يتحمل مسؤولية الانفجار ويقف وراء مُنفذيه، وقد باتت أهدافه مكشوفة وتتمثل في تخويف الشعب السوري ومنعه من التظاهر والتعبير عن مطالبه بإسقاط النظام، والعمل على تضليل المراقبين والرأي العام بالحديث عن خطر مزعوم يهدف إلى تشويه الوجه السلمي لثورتنا المباركة

إن المجلس الوطني السوري، وقد حذر سابقاً من أن النظام يخطط للقيام بعمليات تفجير في عدة مناطق من سورية، يؤكد أن بصمات النظام واضحة في هذه العملية التي حدثت في حي تخرج فيه أكبر المظاهرات في دمشق تحديداً. وإن مثل هذه الممارسات توضّح مرةً أخرى حاجة البعثة خاصةً والمبادرة العربية بشكل عام إلى دعم سياسي وقانوني دولي لتنفيذها على الوجه الأمثل

ويرى المجلس الوطني أن اتفاق جامعة الدول العربية ومجلس الأمن الدولي على العمل المشترك يمثل خطوة أولى لاتخاذ الإجراءات العاجلة والضرورية لتوفير الحماية للمدنيين السوريين ومنع النظام من ارتكاب مزيد من عمليات التفجير والقتل

The Regime is Responsible for the Bombings in Damascus
 

In a move that created chaos and diverted attention from the regime’s crimes of murder and torture, the Maidan district in Damascus, the capital city, witnessed a criminal bombing today that resulted in a number of civilians wounded and killed. The Syrian regime, which has repeatedly boasted about its ability to sow destruction and chaos, bears the full responsibility for both the explosion and its perpetrators. The regime’s objectives, now exposed, include intimidating the Syrian people and denying them their right to demonstrate and express their desire to oust the regime; misleading the Arab League observers and the public; and accusing external elements to distort the facts about our peaceful Revolution.

The SNC had previously warned that the regime was planning to carry out bombing attacks in several areas in Syria. Today’s bombings, in the area that has experienced the largest of the anti-regime demonstrations, clearly bear the regime’s fingerprints. Practices such as these demonstrate once again that the Arab League’s observer mission, and the Arab League’s initiative overall, require the international community’s political and legal support to be adequately implemented.

The SNC believes that an agreement on a joint effort between the Arab League and the United Nations Security Council represents a first step toward the urgent and necessary measures to assure the protection of civilians, and to ensure that the regime does not commit additional bombings and killings.
