الدول الغربية ترفض مشروع القرار الروسي بشأن الأزمة السورية والنظام يحضّر لتفجير جديد
رفضت الدول الغربية مشروع القرار الروسي في مجلس الأمن
بشأن الأزمة التي تمرّ بها سورية حاليّاً حيث اعتبرت أن القرار يفتقر إلى
الحزم حيال جرائم نظام الأسد. ودعا سُفراء الدول الغربيّة إلى فرض حظر على
شحن الأسلحة إلى سورية ورفضوا إصرار روسيا على المساواة بين قمع وإرهاب
نظام الأسد ونشاطات المعارضة التي تهدف إلى حماية نفسها
وما زالت محاولات النظام لإنهاء مظاهر الثورة مستمرّة منذ
توقيع بروتوكول جامعة الدول العربيّة. فحمص ما زالت محاصرةً من قِبَلِ قوات
الأمن والجيش، ومنذ أكثر من شهر يستمر حفر خندقٍ حول المدينة لمنع فرار
الناشطين، ويكبُر هذا الخندق ويزدادُ عمقه ويمتد للمزيد من الكيلومترات.
وما زالت دبابات النظام ومدرعاته تتكدس يومياً في المدينة. ومنذ أسبوع
تقريباً قام النظام باستقدام دبابات من نوع تي 72 ووضعها على كل المفارق
الرئيسية في المدينة والبلدات المجاورة. ويقوم مئات من قوّات الأسد باحتلال
المباني الجامعية والشقق السكنية المحيطة بحي بابا عمرو ومنطقة الشماس.
ورَوَت مصادر داخليّة أنها شاهدت مرور أكثر من 50 دبابة و50 ناقلة جند
محمّلة بشبيحة إيرانين ومن حزب الله وميليشيّات الصدر باتجاه بابا عمرو
التي تُقصف بعنف منذ أكثر من 24 ساعة
ويُذكر أنَّ شاحنتان مغلقتان تم تحميلهما بجثثٍ من المشفى
الوطني في حمص فيما يبدو أنه محاولة جديدة لتفجير جديد. ويُرجّح العديد أن
تكون الجهة هي مبنى المطاحن على مدخل حي الخالدية حيث تم نقل غالب الموظفين
إلى مطاحن أخرى وإنذارهم بعدم الحضور
وفي درعا، قامت قوّات الأمن باقتحام اللجاة وبصر الحرير
ونوى وذلك لقيام فصائل منشقّة بالهروب والاختباء فيها منذ أكثر من أسبوع.
وقد تمّ هذا الاجتياح بعد حصار خانق دام أكثر من عشرة أيام. وقامت قوّات
الأمن أيضاً باعتقال جميع سكان بعض المناطق ، حيث تقوم قوّات الأمن بتجميع
أهالي بصر الحرير في معمل السجاد والمدارس دون استثناء أي شخص إن كان ذكراً
أو أنثى أو شيخاً أو طفلاً. وتمّ حرق العديد من المنازل أثناء الاقتحام
وقتلت قوّات الأمن اليوم ما لا يقل عن 41 شخصاً، سقط منهم
19 في حمص. ويُذكر أنّ قوّات الأمن باتت تجتاح المدن والقرى وتترك الجثث
خلفها في الشارع لإنذار الأهالي وترويعهم. وما زالت معظم المحافظات تعيش
أجواء اجتياح، كدير الزور وإدلب التي تشهد حملة أمنيّة مشددّة

Russia’s UN Draft Resolution on Syria Rejected as the Regime Prepares for More Massacres

Western countries rejected the Russian UN draft resolution condemning
the violence in Syria because it was not harsh on the regime.
Fifty additional tanks accompanying 50 APCs carrying Iranian, Lebanese
and Iraqi militiamen have been sent to the neighbourhood of Baba Amr
which has been under heavy bombardment for the past 24 hours.
Two trucks have been seen at the National Hospital in Homs loading corpses in what seems to be a preparation for new explosions.

Summary of Events
Several Western countries rejected the proposed Russian UN draft
resolution condemning the violence in Syria because it was not harsh
enough on the regime. Ambassadors to the UN from of several
western states called for imposing a weapons embargo on the Syrian
regime. The Russians rejected this demand and insisted to equate the
regime’s atrocities with self-defence actions taken by rebels.
The regime’s attempts to quell the revolution since the protocol was
signed continue. The city of Homs is still under siege, as regime forces
have been digging a tunnel around the city for over a month to
stop residents from escaping. The tunnel is getting deeper and longer
with time, while more tanks and troops are brought in daily. Last week,
the regime brought in new Russian T-72 tanks and stationed them at all
of the main entrances to the city and surrounding towns and villages.
Hundreds of troops have occupied the University Campus and surrounding
dormitories and apartments in the neighbourhoods of Baba Amr and Hay
Shammas. According to inside sources, 50 additional tanks accompanying
50 APCs carrying Iranian, Lebanese and Iraqi militiamen have been sent
to the neighbourhood of Baba Amr which has been under heavy bombardment
for the past 24 hours.
Two trucks were spotted at the National Hospital in Homs loading corpses
in what seems to be a preparation for new explosions. Many people
believe the mills (Matahen) building will be the next target, because
all of its employees have been transferred to other locations and
advised not to show up at that location.
In Daraa, security forces invaded the cities and towns of Lajat, Bosr
al-Harir, and Nawa, where defected troops have been hiding for more than
a week. The invasion took place after more than 10 days of siege.
Assad’s forces arrested entire populations from certain neighbourhoods.
The regime has been detaining the residents of Bosr al-Harir at the
Carpets Factory and in schools, without excluding children, women, and
elders from such arrests. Many houses were also burnt.
Security forces killed today at least 41 civilians, including 19 who
fell in Homs. It is noted that security forces have started a new habit
of leaving corpses on the streets to scare civilians after raids. Most
municipalities are still under invasion, such as Deir Azzour and Idlib
which have been undergoing heavy military operations
